I don't care what kind of war it is. War of Terror, War against terror. Civil war, War of Aggression. Clash of Civilizations, Religious War. War on Christmas, War on Marriage, War on Drugs, War on Homelessness, War on Poverty. War, war, war. By any other name, a War is a War.
And but so. This stinking rose of a war is a stinking rose of a war. The world was not only forcefully flung into it prior to 9/11, it was lied to in order to continue it afterwards. And since that fateful day, the convulsions of a complicated conflict have confused and confounded the planet.
Thousands have died under the microscope of this conflict and untold thousands have died in conflicts unseen or unheeded by the fog surrounding it.
Storms are ravaging cities around the planet. Drugs are proliferating like viruses. Viruses are evading vaccinations. Unheard of Biological weapons are being used. Gangs and militias are preparing for conflicts to come.
And we need to have a debate about whether or not the war in Iraq is Civil or not?
I'm not one for numbers because i'm just bad with them. But, isn't the ratio of WTC dead and Military dead about 1 to 1 now? And what about the number of civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan? What would be the factor there? Not really looking for concrete numbers here. Apparently the whole world is already blind is my point.
Who cares what kind of war it is when you're dead? By any other name, it's still a war. And it needs to be stopped.
